Swimming leads the list for summer fun with 11 kilometers of white-sand beach and the pristine waters of Georgian Bay. It doesn't get any better. All of our cottages are a mere two minute stroll to a family-friendly, beach area.
Summer, Spring and Fall
Boating, fishing and seadoo/waverunners spice up life on the water, not to mention wake boarding on the Nottawasaga River– a popular summer past- time. Rentals are available.
Wasaga Beach trails are the envy of many communities: bike, walk and hike. The Ganaraska Hiking Trail passes right through the community and the world famous Bruce Trail is minutes away on the Niagara Escarpment. Go-carts and mini-golf for the kids, tennis and big "G" golf for the whole family. Wasaga Beach boasts 3 great golf courses of our own with several more nearby in Collingwood and the Blue Mountains.
For those who prefer the sound of much smaller balls going 'splat', Wasaga's Indoor/Outdoor Paintball Adventure Course is billed as Canada's best.

For the best in downhill skiing, boarding and tubing you're just minutes from the excitement of Blue Mountain. Snowshoeing, ice-fishing, dog-sled races, outdoor skating are a great way to spend a day and if you're a sledder, there's no shortage of groomed snowmobile trails to discover right here and all along the Bay.
